Robert Rullo is Founder and President of Rullo Communications LLC a strategic medical communications company based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

With more than two decades of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical marketing experience, Bob held key positions in sales and marketing with Palo Alto-based, Syntex Laboratories Inc. including Product Director for NAPROSYN® (naproxen), the company’s flagship product. In 1995, he created the West Coast Operations of Churchill Communications North America. Bob also served as managing partner of IntraMed Educational Group, a subsidiary of Sudler and Hennessey. His client portfolio has included Affymax, Agouron, Allergan, ALZA, Amgen, Baxter, Centocor, COR Therapeutics, Genentech, ImClone Systems, Immunex, InterMune LifeScan, Matrix, Medicis, Neutrogena, and Scios.

Bob has worked extensively in bio-oncology, infectious disease, HIV, diabetes, dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, endocrinology, cardiology, rheumatology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and urology. He was intimately involved in the successful launch of major brands including Rituxan®, Herceptin®, Viracept®, Concerta®, Integrilin®, ADVATE, Juvéderm™, Natrecor® and Dysport®. Along with new product launches, Bob’s marketing expertise includes pre-launch market conditioning, publication planning, patient and professional education, advocate development, branding and positioning, managed care strategic planning, sales training and electronic media.

Widely recognized as an imaginative thinker with a results-oriented approach to providing solutions to complex challenges, Bob possesses strong leadership skills necessary to ensure successful implementation. With an infectious presentation style and outstanding communications skills, Bob has lectured and moderated numerous panel discussions and advisory boards in biopharmaceutical marketing and is a member of several medical marketing associations.

In addition to his work in the professional space, Bob co-founded iRadioMD, a breakthrough state-of-art direct-to-patient education program that brings consumers directly in touch with leading experts in the field via the fastest growing media phenomenon, internet radio.
